- Merging two or more photos
- Photoshop can automatically or manually merge image
- Use a tripod for best results
- Make sure you have at least 15% overlap

- Open first image and resize the canvas (make sure "relative" is selected)
- Open second image and move into first
- Set opacity to 50% and nudge with arrows
- Set opacity back to 100%
- Use the eraser tool to blend edges

- Get two images on separate layers in one panorama file
- Select the top layer's channel palette
- Select just the red channel
- Select "Levels" and adjust the midpoint to match the other image

- When you go back to the RGB channel you should see matching of colors

- Lightness Channel (dials in the just luminosity)
- From the Image menu under mode switch from RGB to LAB color
- From the Channels palette select the Lightness channel
- From the Image menu under mode choose Grayscale
- You should now have just a Gray channel
- Duplicate the Background layer and switch blend to Multiply
- Your image should appear much darker
- Lower the Opacity of this new layer to dail in your image
- The Channel Mixer (lets you blend all three RGB channels)
- Make a new "Channel Mixer" adjustment layer
- Select "Monochrome" from the Channel Mixer dialog box
- Notice Red is set to 100%
- Alter the three channels so that they equal 100%
- Change Constant to tweak overall brightness
- To create a split tone coloring effect
- Add a new "Color Balance" adjustment layer
- Change blending mode to color to preserve luminosity of layer below
- Tweak the color to achieve desired effect
- Having a separate layer allows you to go from easily back to color
- Hue/Saturation technique
- Make a new Hue/Sat layer and dial saturation down to zero
- Make another Hue/Sat layer and put between background and first Hue/Sat layer
- Set the mode for this layer to "Color"
- Reopen this layer and and tweak adjustments

- Drag your folder of pictures into iPhoto
- Export as QT movie
- Use QT Player to add music
- Droplets
- Droplets can save a lot of time
- Easier to keep a "Process Folder" on your desktop
- Remeber to work on duplicates, always back up originals
- Can slightly modify actions from Photoshop to make new droplets
- Keep droplet generic by not renaming
