Rubrik wanted to evolve their quarterly webinars into something more than just internal updates—they needed a flagship asset that could excite customers, empower sales, and set them apart as a thought leader in the data security space. The vision? A sleek, keynote-style virtual event that felt more Apple than enterprise, while still fitting within real-world tech marketing budgets.
At the same time, the content had to work hard. The final deliverables needed to fuel their pipeline, serve social, and reinforce community—without requiring endless shoot days or overcomplicated logistics. With executive schedules locked down to tight windows, efficiency and execution were paramount.
Savvy Studios turned one of Rubrik’s conference room into a fully modular studio, custom-built for speed, flexibility, and brand polish. The set featured interchangeable zones—designed for keynote segments, product demos, and interviews—with lighting and layouts choreographed for fast transitions. Everything could be broken down and stored onsite, giving Rubrik a scalable, in-house production solution for future shoots with or without Savvy Studios.
To make the most of tight executive schedules, we prepped storylines, talking points, and shot lists ahead of time. Every detail—from lighting to wardrobe to transitions—was planned to minimize downtime and maximize production value.
In a single, fast-paced shoot day, we captured everything needed for a 90-minute Winter Release: keynote intros, product demos, thought-leadership interviews, customer soundbites, and social cutdowns.
